Hello, my name is Aundre Washington and my desire is to reach people by using my gifts, so they may have a transformative experience. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, and as one who strives to be a catalyst for change, I also seek to disciple others in the area of racial justice.
I view racial justice as a corrective and collective effort to undermine racism and restore both social and systemic harmony. Using the Bible as the basis for this work, God’s word gives me the inspiration to do the ministry of reconciliation as a means to contribute to ethnic unity. There are three foundational ideas that give me a framework for serving others in this space: Recollection, Relationship, and Reformation.
As an Associate Pastor and advocate for racial justice, I have the privilege to partner with churches, Christian organizations (and a non-Christian organization) to work towards diversity, equity, and inclusion—while upholding biblical and gospel-centered truth. I have also had the opportunity to do racial justice work by way of civic engagement, in partnership with other community leaders. Ultimately, the goal is to provide pastoral leadership that facilitates ethnic unity.
There is more to my story, but my trials and triumphs—along with good mentorship—have shaped and prepared me. It would be an honor to partner with you in the gospel imperative work of racial justice.
Areas of Expertise
Services
1-on-1 Coaching ($100-$150 per Hour): Will conduct virtual racial justice and unity coaching in tandem with the review of a completed Personal Assessment.
Speaking Engagement ($400): Will attend an in-person service or event to share an expository message, or participate in a panel discussion.
Policy & Procedure Review ($50-$80): Will review policies and/or procedures and provide feedback to ensure that all rules and regulations are equitable, inclusive, and just. (Cost will be based on the amount of documentation that needs to be reviewed.)
Pastoral Counseling ($100 per Session): A one-hour virtual session creating a safe space for individuals, which will be a time of advising, biblical counsel, encouragement, mediation, and courageous conversation.
Written Content Creation ($50-$80): Will provide written content for public statements, internal or external emails, surveys or questionnaires, mission statements, and organizational values. (Cost will be based on how much written content is requested.)
DEI Staff Training: Will travel to your location to lead biblical diversity, equity, and inclusion training. (Please contact to discuss needs and a quote based on those needs.)

Aundre was our Kids Director as well as the Operations Director for our private school. Professionally, he did exemplary work. In addition, he helped us navigate racial tensions, especially in the aftermath of the George Floyd murder. He is thoughtful and knows how to communicate in such a way that brings people together to work towards peace and unity. Not superficial "peace" that is really just avoidance but real, meaningful, dialogue that moves people towards one another with open ears and hearts. Aundre spoke at a high school chapel on issues of racial equality. He shared some personal stories and then drew conclusions about the importance of recognizing bias in our own lives. He was engaging and spoke clearly as he shared, with passion, his challenge for all people to recognize bias they may not even be aware of but is evidenced in their actions. I would recommend Aundre to others who want to be open to considering their own hearts when it comes to racial discrimination.
We've hired Mr. Aundre Washington to train our school staff in the areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in an effort to more fully serve our student body and their families. He was the ideal candidate for us because of his background in school administration leadership and his skillset of teaching DEI. His teaching style is relatable and empathic as well as being rooted in real life examples. Mr. Washington has a gift of bridging cross cultural differences while thoughtfully navigating the framework and nuance of DEI.
Through story-telling, visuals, and humor, we were challenged to reconsider how we interact with our students and each other. It was an invaluable time of growth for our staff—our team left changed and inspired. We are eager to have Mr. Washington back to help us discover how to more successfully (and lovingly) care for those who are entrusted to us. We highly recommend him and will have him return to lead us as a coach again.
Work Experience
Explore and execute methods to ascertain an organization's group culture as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Work with senior leadership to develop, implement, assess, and continually improve a comprehensive DEI strategy.
Draft statements, talking points and policies regarding an organization's position on DEI and related issues.
Provide counsel to individual staff members relative to DEI issues and assist in the resolution of interpersonal DEI conflicts as requested.
Seek out ways to bring a variety of perspectives to an organization's DEI improvement effort.
Provide oversight and engage members that have a passion for social justice to organize, mobilize, and strategize for change in our community.
Serve as the point of contact and manage community partnerships.
Provide oversight to our Senior Center, Prison Ministry, and Evangelism Ministry.
Build and/or help coordinate outreach efforts for members and staff.
Oversee daily school operations, lead a staff of twenty, and assist with budget management.
Develop and oversee implementation of policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
Partner with families, respond to and help resolve inquires, and manage volunteers.
Lead, develop, and execute all aspects of the children's ministry.
Serve in other ministry areas such as preaching, special event planning, and church-wide initiatives.

We help Christians to work toward biblical, racial justice and unity in their lives, organizations, and society. The RJUC is facilitated by Renew Partnerships, a Christian ministry founded in 2006.
